Fraud Checker exists to warn people about scams — not to punish, shame or harass anyone. These rules apply to every report.
Draft — this text has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer and may change before launch.
Reports must be
About a real scam you experienced or witnessed directly.
Supported by evidence: chat screenshots, payment receipts, call recordings or similar.
Factual: describe what happened, avoid insults and speculation.
Not allowed
False or exaggerated claims, or reports meant to damage a competitor or settle a personal conflict.
Private details that are not needed to recognise the scam: home addresses, family members, photos of unrelated people, children, medical information.
Threats, hate speech, harassment, or calls for violence or vigilante action.
Business disputes that are not fraud (for example a late delivery that was later completed).
How moderators decide
Every report is reviewed before it is published. Moderators may ask you for more information, edit the text to remove private details, blur evidence, or reject the report.
An identifier is marked "Community Verified" only when several different, phone-verified people have each had an approved report about it.
Fairness
Anyone named in a report can dispute it and send their side of the story. While a dispute is under review the profile shows "Disputed". If it is upheld, the report is taken down. We never accept payment to remove a valid report.
